Hi Neil, just to say the gig in birmingham last night was brilliant cant wait for the next time i see you live again :) and thanks for signing my le ducks box set the dvd is hillarious cant stop playing it.....thanks again for a great night.
splendid show at the tythe barn ,bishops cleeve nr Cheltenham sunday night. Nice to see so many NORMALS ( wonder where the go the rest of the time) a good evening was had by the three of us who went together ( me ,mr c and scatters ) I will wear the t shirt with pride and to hell with un- normals . keep up the good work. lord jim
James and I enjoyed, so much, the privilege of hearing once again your surreal, unique blend of intellectual lunacy and melody! It is so refreshing, in these modern times, to know there is someone out there who happily tears away the ludicrous facade that our media and society would have us swallow unquestioningly and tells things as they really are with wit and astute evaluation.
You are a true troubadour of all those moments in life which happen to us all, whose lyrics standout for their subtle observations of the little things that constitute a lifetime for the everyday man and woman in the street. A kitchen-sink balladeer of life. (That is a compliment by the way!)
Was great to get a copy of the Le Ducks set - thrilled to see "Time to Kill" on there - that was when I first saw you perform, dressed as the WW1 soldier. I was still up after 10pm, far too late for a kiddy growing up in Liverpool and my Dad just happened to have the telly on BBC2... I was caught by that song straight away and the rest is history! Wish you would perform this incredibly moving song again, but I understand some of those notes are quite high - you'll have to wear really tight undies to reach those heady heights of that octave these days, I guess. ;0)
Good Luck with the petition to get IBOR back on TV again - or at least in a full DVD box set of all of the series.
Come back to the South West soon and thanks for signing our bits and pieces. Hope you don't think the frequency of our coming to your performances is 'stalking' territory .... we just know what is good when we see and hear it!
Hi Neil Great show in Falmouth tonight. I knew it would be - but my wife is Australian, and the entire Bonzos, IBOR, RWT, Rutles thing has passed her by completely. Wasn't sure how it would all go down, but she loved it too.
Just bought a red t-shirt from your online shop. I have to say, with tonight's audience, a severe shortage of x-large showed some lack of foresight!
Anyway, thanks for being you (cue cheesy drum roll)...
Just to say again, how brilliant your gig was in Halifax last Thursday. "Shrangri Lah" being my personal highlight. To hear it live blew me away. Your patience in chatting to folk afterwards was much appreciated...other superstars (and you ARE ) don't always make the time for their fans. Venue was superb I felt and the age range of the small but intimate audience shows your universal popularity cannot be "pigeon holed". Top man Neil...thanks again
Just wanted to say your songs and idiosyncratic brand of madness have haunted me since I was a kid. The Innes Book of Records was one of the highlights of TV back then. Glad to see you're thriving.
Dear Neil, Just watched you at the Centre stage in Bournemouth, and I think I may be in love. It's not quite what I had expected from the evening but life is full of surprises isn't it? You are a wonder of the modern age. Your thinnest fan, Derek
OK, life-long fan. And NOW I'm told Neil is possilby visiting The Netherlands for shows. Where I live! What coincidence. I can provide help when it comes to possible venues, booking, support, fine wine. You name it. Contact me if you like...
PS. Neil would you consider signing my copy of The Innes Book of Records LP if I sent it to you? Thanks! Best, Freek
dear neil, thanks for so very many great songs and comedy moments .when i'm in the slouch of despond i can always rely on yourself /the bonzo's to lift my spirits-and send me soaring exhilarated above the doomy gloom.it's been a few years since i last saw you live=the bonzo's live show featuring stephen fry -e.t.c-boody brilliant!!!!.hoping to see you live again very soon.take care-enjoy the silly season(xmas!! ) and "keep on rockin',keep on rockin',keep on rockin'.......
< phew! > Having only just recovered from your gig @ The Red Devil Lounge ( there's an oddly shaped place! ) , in San Francisco , with only a minor sunburn - I just wanted to say thanks to the both of you , for once again feeling the need to trapse through the creepy little city that is the place where Rebecca & I were born.! ( And then driving past the city where we currently live,to go to Seattle. ) ( Although I didn't really find it so neccessary that you throw those wine bottles in the front yard! )
But I divest! A nice selection of tunes - absolutely love the addition of Mr.Eurovision - as well as the other newer material. ( Not that we abhor the other material...it's just nice when you mix it up , you've got a fine back catalog to choose from! ). Rikki's overly enthuisiastic clapping was a tad much , but his choice in attire , would absolve him in any court! Sharp!! Hope the rest of the Tour was enjoyable , hope you saw the sights , and had a safe flight homeward! Look forward to the next one already!
Neil, I was just looking at my George Harrison album 33 1/3. Could there possibly be a Neil Innes 66 2/3's coming out soon? Thanks for coming to Chicago again this year. You really are an innespiration.
Neil. We caught your show at Ascroft Arts in Fareham on Friday. Had a really great time. Thanks so much for the laughs. Will the idiot bastard band be playing outside London?

Just received my Le Ducks Box Set. Haven't had chance to listen to it yet but it looks like a excellent package!!!
Also, many thanks for the signed slip inside - adds a very nice personal touch to the set.
Hope to see you on the road soon.
All the Best,
Ed
Will there be a gig in Manchester/Salford this year? Please bring the Urban Spaceman home!
All the best for the tour.

You might not have heard me singing along at the back but I got loudest on Cheese and Onions in the Rutles medley. :-)
And your Best Bits are now on my tappy piece of glass for those rainy subway days.
Sincerely
Mike Nemeth
